Healing Art Cards

SACRED ART OF THE SACRED HEART

I am a visionary artist who has created different lines of unusual “Greeting” cards which commemorate the non-ordinary but significantly important personal milestones in one’s life.

There are many occasions that traditional greeting cards don’t cover. With the cards I create, I hope the sender can encourage the receiver to overcome a difficult phase, honor a non-ordinary triumph, venerate the poetry of life, offer a respite of joy to those who are deeply troubled and make space for the healing of a wounded heart.

After a lifetime of exploration, I’ve decided the only art worthy of my attention must be healing, nurturing, and supportive in nature.

My long and varied art career started in the late 1970s when I did fantasy art, calligraphy, and fantasy maps for the budding Role-Playing Game industry. After that, I drew inspiration from the art of Native Americans and other indigenous peoples. I loved the art of ancient Egypt enough to investigate their concept of sacred science and incorporated it into my world-view (and hence, my work).

When I immersed myself into the study of sacred geometry and the classic canons of art, I began to appreciate the relationships between proportion, beauty, and the concept of transcendence. Then I took the time to explore the transformative aspects of mystic art, and experimented with the meaningful juxtaposition of image with symbol. This brought me to honoring the angelic realms, expressing the sacred feminine, and acknowledging the healing power of prayer.

Now I’m at the point where I’m ready to share of myself and my heart. Truly, art created consciously–using energetic techniques, prayer, spiritual visualization, and heart presence–has a tremendous power to encourage one’s healing process. That’s where I am.

I sincerely hope my art work and poetry can soothe when calm is required, motivate when inspiration is desired, and bring joy when a smile is needed.

I call my line of unusual cards “Sacred Art of the Sacred Heart.”
